A concert of art song cycles with baritone Suchan Kim and soprano Kinneret Ely, with pianist Eric Sedgwick: Schumann’s Dichterliebe (“A Poet’s Love,” to words by Heinrich Heine), Berlioz’ Les Nuits d’Été (“Summer Nights”, to words by Théophile Gautier), and Mahler’s Lieder eines fahrenden Gesellen (“Songs of a Wayfarer,” to his own words).
The song cycles will be performed in the original languages, with supertitles in English.
